A Helpful Guide to Terminology and Acronyms

Event Dashboard

• Filter By Status:
  • Interested:  A coach has expressed interest in working or attending your event for a stipend.
  • Confirmed:  A coach has been confirmed to work or attend your event for a stipend.
  • Canceled:  A coach is no longer able to work or attend your event and has cancelled their stipend registration.  It could also mean that a program switch the coach they wanted to have attend.
  • Standby:  A coach is interested in working or attending your event but is placed on a standby (waitlist) for a variety of reasons.  If the number of confirmed coaches dips below the desired number of coaches attending, this will be the first reach out done to fill in any of the cancelled stipend positions.
  • Checked In:  A coach has arrived at your event, scanned in, and their attendance is validated for payment.

Tourney Direct

• RAM:  Recruiting Account Manager.  These are Tourney Direct team members that will work as an extension of your team to help market, recruit, confirm, and potentially pay coaches on your behalf.
• TD Pay:  A simplified approach to securely paying coaches and filing 1099s managed by Tourney Direct powered by Stripe. Can be added to TD Staff or TD Manage.
• TD Staff:  Easy to use, self-service tools offered through a single event management portal to simplify how youth sports events are staffed and managed.
• TD Manage:  TD Manage is the all-in-one event staffing solution for events interested in advanced recruiting support from dedicated resources to manage the end-to-end staffing of your event, including stipend payment and tax management powered by TD Pay.
